0.33 l bottle from ''t Biermenneke', 2022 vintage, best before September 2024. Minimally hazy, ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, quite smoky, a little fruity aroma of caramel, raisins, smoked ham and some nuts. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather smoky and gently fruity taste of caramel, raisins, smoked ham, toasted nuts and some leaves, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty Rauchbock, very well-balanced, finally one which is actually smoked and not only brewed with a tad of smoked malt.
