Fles 33cl thuis. Leren Proeven 9/12. Samen met 10/12 Nog Meerkoet. Rood fruit, maltig, redelijk zoet, bittertonen, rozijn, wijnbal, citrus, hoppig, marsepein. (18-11-2022).

0.33 l bottle from 'Drinks & Gifts', bottled in August 2022. A little hazy, ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, marzipan, some raisins and a touch of soft cake. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity taste of caramel, marzipan, vanilla, soft cake, chocolate and raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent old school Barley Wine with a Belgian touch.
