Decompression Czech pilsner is not about big flavors and high intensity. It’s about clean and crisp flavors with subtle malt sweetness and noble hops in the background. We gave this beer a long and cold fermentation to reduce fruity esters and make room for that subtle malt sweetness to come through. Enjoy!

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Herbarium, Stavanger. ABV is 5.2%. Pale golden colour, large white head. Aroma of grass, hay, flowers and heather honey. Crisp flavour of herbal and floral hops, sufficient malts, medium bitter finish, refreshing.

Can. An almost clear one, golden in color and topped by a dense white head. Nice curtains. The aroma is grassy and grainy, fruity, with a light tropical fruityness. Hay notes. It's medium bodied and soft on the palate, a bit low on carbonation, and quite dry. Decent bitterness. Fruity flavor with hay, grass and some pale malts. Hints of pale raisin towards the finish. Lightly grassy finish. A decent brew indeed. 240706

7-5-7-4-15 Can, #681, eight weeks after canning. Pours clear pale yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is pilsner malts with bread crust, hay and honey, as well as zesty hops with peppery herbal notes. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is pilsner malts with hay, white bread and some heather, as well as zesty, floral hops with herbal notes and grassy minerals.
