33cl can from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. 2024 edition. Pours dark brown/purple, almost black, with no foam. Aroma is coffee and chocolate. Body is thick, smooth, a little sticky, with moderate carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, with a nice roasty bitterness. Final is fairly long and pleasant.

Lattina. Il gusto al naso resta attratto da pane nero, caffè e cioccolato. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la maniera in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma color marrone castagno destinata a vita breve. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è nero come la pece. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, cioccolato fondente, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca ed agrumi.

Svart. Middels høyt lysebrunt luftig skum som daler sakte. Sjokoladearoma. Smaken røstet malt, kaffe & mørk sjokolade. Tørr bitter avslutning.

330ml can, 2023 edition, 10 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Shiny naked surface, deep ruby-black body, dotted spots on the glass. Smoothly roasted chocolate malts on the nose, inviting. Rich taste of chocolate joined by liquorice and bread. Lingering mid-sweet malty end, roasted. Lightly boozy. With nice sipper qualities. (Tromsø, 19.01.2024).

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Nosferatu. Pours black-brown with a big, frothy beige topping. Medium sweet flavour with big, true dark malt character, sturdy roast, a little ash, earth, dried dark fruits, background booze. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Light warmth in the finish, notes of toasted sugars, cocoa, more rounded roast, a nip of ashy dryness. A really solid, no-nonsense impy stout.

Bottle at TLVCBF, opaque extremely dark brown colour, vanila and milk chocolate, a bit of bittersweet chocolate, quite sweet, hint of ash. Nice.

Black with a brown head - Malt aroma - Dark malt body with some Coffee and chocolate flavours - Dark malt with coffee and chocolate goes into the finish - This was good

2/7/2022. Can shared at fonefan tasting. Pours black with a small frothy tan coloured head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, dried fruits, coffee, raisins, dates, liquorice, hint of dark cherry. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Quite full bodied, slick, average to soft carbonation. Very nice.
