Our first Irish Red is brewed to be a supremely easy drinking pint. A blend of crystal, chocolate and munich malt gives a strong malt backbone to this beer, with notes of toffee and ovaltine on the nose. On the taste, complex biscuit flavours dominate with a hint of roasted dryness on the backend. A blend of 3 golding hop varieties are bolstered with a small amount of meridian to help the traditional golding varieties pop.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 1st August 2025. Reddish mid brown with green tinged yellow foam affording full lacing. Rich hazelnut malt aroma. Nutty malts in-mouth and a long lasting, addictive malt finish. Engaging mouthfeel and a full body. Superb, well crafted.

Half-pint, cask ale, shared with Finn at Smithfield Market Tavern (Blackjack). Mahogany coloured body, near-clear, good lacing from a fading beige head. Oily hops on the nose, hints of berry skins. Mixed taste profile of mid-sweet malts and mid-dry berries. Drying close. Pleasing. (Manchester, 21.03.2024).

Cask @ Café Beermoth, Manchester. Slightly hazed dark amber with a creamy head. Bland red ale, with this style more evident in aroma than taste, the latter seemingly tasteless hops.

Delt med Rune. Mørk amber. Klar. Mokkafarget skumring. Tynn teppelacing. Lett bæraroma. Smaken tørr kjeks. Tørr avslutning. Passe bitter.
