Half-pint, cask at Piccadilly Tap. Shared with Finn. Remaining off-white head over a misty amber body, dotted spots on the glass. Moments of herbal hops and earthy malts on the nose. Mixed taste of nutty malts, biscuit, and leafy hops. Nice bittersweet end. Pleasing. (Manchester, 21.03.2024).

Delt med Rune. Amber. Nesten klar. Lavt tett skum. Aroma av malt & kjeks. Smaken tørket frukt. Fortsatt en del malt. Tørr, lett bitter avslutning.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A murky pale chestnut pour with a thin white head; aroma of biscuity malt and yeast; smooth and creamy in the mouth with a caramel malt taste; and a gentle but firm floral bitterness. A tasty modern bitter.

Cask at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a hazy copper with minimal off-white head and good lacing. There’s a good mix of malts and grains in the aroma. Sweet malts again in the mouth plus nuts, mushy stewed apples and traces of autumn fruits. Finish is slightly sweet. Very enjoyable – a nice uncomplicated beer done very well.

Cask @ Port Street Beer House, Manchester. Dark amber with a glow. It has a session texture and grainy malts, and a potent nose in this respect too.
