440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Oslo City. Carried back home and shared with Finn. Coal black body under a stable tan head leaving spotty lacing on the nose. Attractive, smoothly roasted malty aromas, spices and chocolate. Fine mixed taste of cinnamon, chocolate malts, and vanilla oak. Smoothly roasted chocolate malts to the finish with warmth from the bourbon. Likeable sipper, well bodied. (Tromsø, 06.01.2024).

Spandert av Rune. Delt i WCveien. Svart. Mokkafarget filmskum. Lett bourbonaroma. Smaaken tørket frukt, bourbon, sjokolade. Tørr, forsiktig bitter avslutning. Som varer lenge.

Håndverkern 301123. Black color with a beige head. Aroma is bourbon, roasted malt, sugar. Flavor is bourbon, roasted malt, caramel, vanilla, alcohol, chocolate, spices. Very nice beer.

Deep dark pour and a small beige head. Good intensity in the aroma. Decent sweetness and a soft carbonation level. Chocolate, oak, licorice, roast, mild bourbon and coffee in the flavor. [Can at Komlefjorden 23]

Black with a off white head. Wood and bourbon aroma. Dark malt body with wood and bourbon flavour with some alcohol heat. Dark malt and wood barrel finish. This was good.

Kitty har forening i kveld, jeg har laget og servert maten, så da er det velfortjent å kunne trekke seg tilbake på loftet med denne 0,44 boksen fra nissens store utvalg i Bergen Storsenter (takk til Håkon!). Brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Vederkvegende aroma og smak (og etter hvert også virkning) med nybrent og nytraktet dessertkaffe, mørke karamelchokolader, vanilje, søt kakao med kaneldryss og mer enn et par dråper bourbon, hint av lakris og tobakk/cigarbox. Jeg tror jeg holder meg på loftet resten av kvelden.

Pre-Christmas speed ticking with Gunnfryd @ Håndverkeren. Black body under a beige head. Aroma of dark, roasted malt with some alcohol. Taste is nice and smooth, considering the high ABV. Malt driven focus with low pastry factor. Dark, roasted malt, chocolate, mild Bourbon, balanced bitterness, hint of vanilla. Fine body, long lasting aftertaste. Highly enjoyable for the time I got and would appreciate to spend some more time with this.

Can, at Håndverkeren. A black one, topped by a dense beige head. The aroma has lots of booze and dark chocolate, with roasted malts and some caramel. It's full-bodied, warming and soft on the palate, and not too sweet. Roasted malts, a spiced touch and some vanilla, wood and bourbon notes, and a good dash of alcohol and dark chocolate in the flavor. Lasting chocolate and booze driven finish. A beer for an hour in the favorite chair, or to share. 231103
