Sample courtesy of Fergus, cheers! Gluten Free. Golden colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of grain, straw, hay, grass. Taste is sweetish, malt, grainy, with straw, and tangy grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Can at home picked up from taproom. A clear pale yellow straw coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is earthy straw, hay, classic lager yeast, earthy. Flavour is composed crisp, earthy straw, grain husk, straw, mineral finish, flint. Palate is super crisp and dry, spritzy carbonation, little thin. earthy grains. Not bad.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery taproom. Pours crystal clear, pale yellow with a slight, creamy white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of lightly doughy, pale biscuits, minimal bitterness, cereal, hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Reasonably clean finish. Simple and drinkable, as a helles ought to be.

One-third, draught at Great Beyond Taproom. Foamy white head to a bright golden body, spotty lacing. Grassy hops and grainy malts on the nose. Flavoured with grainy malts, grass, and noble hops. Has got a decent bitter finish. Drinks well. Pretty good. (Hoxton, London, 30.09.2023).
