A clear golden yellow beer with a white lacing. Aroma of dry grainy malt, straw, cereals. Taste of cornflakes, pale malt, grains, moderate bitterness.

Draught at Royal Oak, Borough. Half-pint shared with Finn. Looks good in the glass with a bright late straw coloured body, fair white head and lacing. Inviting smell of leafy hops and pale malts. Well mixed taste of noble hops, bread, and grassy bites. Mild malt-fruity end. Fine version of the style. (London, 29.09.2023).

Tap at Royal Oak. Medium to deep gold. high head, effervescent. Bready malt, lemony hops. Sweet and biscuity flavor, lemon. Ok. Not up to par with their ales.

Keg at The Royal Oak. It pours clear golden - amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is quite earthy, woody, cracker, touch of red fruit, rhubarb crumble, bready malt and a nip of spice. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, hearty malt base, woody, earthy, nutty, touch of leather, bitter - bready, fruit crumble, biscuit and just a touch of spice. Finishes up dry. Medium body and fine+ , prickly carbonation. Nice depth of flavour. Impressed me.

Keg at The Lamb, Eastbourne. Not sure why there is such difference to the others so far but for me this was not good. Tasted strangely macro and like the yeast never had the potnetial to make a good pilsner. Strangely bad from a good brewery but not one I would turn to for pilsner.... (23/12/22)
----
Keg at The Cricketers. Berwick. Great looking pilsner with strong carbonation but a bit Wheaty and heavy. 4.5 to 4.9. (8/4/26).
