Variation 3 of Ascension. Australian hop Eclipse builds on Citra’s juicy foundation with shamelessly sweet mandarin and zesty citrus peel, with a touch of spice for an aromatic finish of fresh pine and mild menthol.

Can at home picked up from Vocation online. A hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a fine white froth. Aroma is nice juekky beans, soft creamy pineapple paste, wheat, spicy citrus, gummy bears. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, creamy wheat, opal fruits, cardamom, green citrus, light onion, tropical fruit bouquet. Nice. Palate is semi sweet, creamy, soft, moderate carbonation. Good eclipse example.

Can thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - murky yellow with a thin snow white head. Nose - very dank and grassy. Taste - very grassy, going into onions, apple going into pineapple. Palate - light bodied, creamy middle and dry, bitter finish. Overall - a bit challenging in the end.

Can from Vocation & Co, Hebden Bridge. Very hazy slightly paler golden with a head. Citrus-hoppy brew with a mid citric-bitterness. There's a decent tropical fruitiness here but its certainly subdued by its dryness, and this makes it a little more bland tasting than it perhaps could or should be. Piney in both aroma and taste.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and good fine minerally crispness. Slightly thin malts, just about sweet enough. The Eclipse hops present with a mild savoury skunk here. Crisp pine throughout. A decent amount of citrus on the back end and fairly bright - orange and a little tangerine - mandarin. Finishes crisp and semi dry. Nice if a tad thin on the malt side.

Can from the brewery’s online shop. Murky golden/bronze body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pine, peanut shell, orange pith and menthol. Flavour of apricot and melon rind. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. More complex than the other two in the series I’ve tried (El Dorado and HBC 638; I’ve still to try the Motueka version).
