26.06.19 Słodowy słodki aromat ale beż szaleństwa może w tle jakaś kawa i orzechy Ciemnobrązowe z beżową pianą klarowne ale nie przejrzyste Smak goryczka palonych słodów zmienia się w smaki kawy i orzechów, czekolady gorzkiej Niezagazowanie średnie, alkohol nie wyczuwalny, bardziej wytrawny, ciało duże, trochę takie cierpkie od tych słodów nie jest łagodne, finisz długi czekoladowy. Ogólnie ris poprawny bez szaleństw, mógłby się jeszcze ułożyć na coś lepszego, chyba ze ktoś lubi takie szorstkie.

К сожалению просто отвратительный Империал стаут. Аромат слабый, чувствуется жженка. Когда делаешь глоток все лицо просто сжимается от противности вкуса. Трудно описать это ощущение, но это отвратительно. Послевкусие достаточно неплохое. Но в целом просто фэйс палм.

Marrón muy oscura, de espuma ocre. Malteada en el aroma, con notas de chocolate, En boca predominio dulce, de maltas tostadas, chocolate y licor con un tono general bastante alcohólico, algo duro.

Black with a large soapy brown head. Bitter and malty with chocolate, coffee and floral hops. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Bottle from Latvian shop in Burton-on-Trent (2 years ago). Malt, yeast and molasses in a heady nose. {Pours a very dark reddish brown with a sizeable beige / cream (almost yellow) head. Good lacing too. A little sweetness to start with in the mouth, before bitterness of roast malts, caramel, liquorice chocolate, and hints of vanilla kick in. The alcoholic strength is very evident too. Finish is fairly bitter coffee, and a warm glow from the throat downwards ! Superb ! Easily the best Russian beer I’ve ever drunk.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a dark brown almost black core with red orange edges, head was frothy tan head. Aroma is rich chocolate malt. Taste is bitter forward with some chocolate, some biscuit, roasted sticky malts, molasses that lingers around the palate.

13/6/2020. Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours very dark ruby brown with a creamy beige head. Aroma of molasses, chocolate, roasted malt and dark fruit. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight creamy texture, soft carbonation. Dark bitter chocolate finish. Not bad, certainly best I've had from Baltika's brew collection, though against other 10% impy;s it doesn't compare that well.
