Half-pint, festival cask ale at S.Fowler & Co (JDW). Patchy white head, clingy lacing, near-clear warm golden body. Moderate floral hoppy smell. Balanced taste of grapefruit and earthy malts. Ripe citrus bitterness to the finish. Medium bodied. Pretty alright. Shared with Finn. (Rating no. 22500) (Ryde, IoW, 20.10.2022).

Cask (gravity) at Standing Order, Derby. Pours a pale straw with s small off-white head. The aroma is slightly sweet with some hints of summer fruits. In the mouth it is light and fairly sweet with malts, citrus, floral hops and summer fruits vying for attention. Finish has a bit of citrus stickiness, but not enough to be offputting. This is rather nice – though it’s not what I would call an IPA.

Cask @ Regal Moon, Rochdale. Wetherspoon 2022 Autumn Beer Festival Ale. Golden coloured with a head. Hoppy and malty with a hint of citrus, it's full bodied but perhaps not quite feeling its strength.

[Cask at the Hope Tap(JDW), Reading.] A straw coloured pour with a scant white head; grainy floral aroma; syrupy in the mouth with a sharp citrus taste; and some grapefruit zest giving a strongly bitter finish.
