An authentic West Coast IPA using the classic 'C' hops that helped launch the craft beer revolution. A punchy hop aroma of pine and citrus leaps out the glass, light crystal malt in the body is pushed aside by an assertive bitterness to give a thirst-quenching finish.

Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#86. Final beer of my last full day on the Isle. Sticky-sweet darker golden effort, quite strong, with the culmination of the aforementioned giving it initial spirit-like qualities. Its aroma has most to with this, in taste there's more of an associated fruitiness to be found, followed by a late bitterness. Found in a packed Duke Of York in Cowes on a Thursday night.

22/1/2024. Can courtesy of Painy, cheers. Lived up to its name on opening. Pours almost clear dark orange amber with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is old-school ipa, piney, citrus, leafy, orange, biscuit, malt. Moderate sweetness and medium plus bitterness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Well done.

Half-pint, draught at Powder Monkey Taproom. Shared with Finn. A pearl white head that laced quite well, over a hazy amber body. Inviting aromas of citrus fruits and mild caramel sweetness. Grain-fruity flavoured, moments of lemon, herbal hops and a backdrop of leafy bitterness to the finish. Fine depth. Pleasing. (Gosport 19.10.2022).

Delt med Rune. Gyldenbrun. Middels høyt luftig skum med litt farge. Daler sakte & etterlater litt lacing. Nesten klar. God ferskenaroma. Smaken tørket tropisk frukt. Tørr bitter avslutning. Gjennomgående fruktig & god!

Can ordered from Twisted Crow, Basingstoke. Aroma is grainy with a jammy resin underbelly. Opaque amber. Frothy blotchy translucent white head. Medium-heavy bitter. There was a slight pause before it came through. Resinous. Grainy. Quinine. A hint of jam. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice enough but basic... there's no depth to it.
