0.33 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, best before June 2026. Very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty and slightly fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and dark fruits. Gently sweet, malty, fairly roasty-bitter, slightly fruity taste of dark chocolate, hard roasted coffee, licorice, ash, burnt bread crust and dark fruits, followed by a short, quite roasty-bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice one, much roastier than expected, quite saturating.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours brown with an orange hue and a creamy and lacing, beige head. Nothing much going on in the nose - perhaps some faint hints of licorice. Medium body, burnt roastiness and again a hint of licorice and quite a fizzy carbonation. Slight underlying tartness, but absolutely no bitterness. 180624

0,33 l bottle. A darkest brown, nearly black in the glass with a fine foamy more than one finger beige head. Looks really good. Roasted malt aroma with some licorice. Taste starts increasing malty, more licorice, nuts, hints of smoked ham. Low carbonared as expected. Nice one!
