Old Tomorrow Honey Ginger Shandy is an new easy-drinking new style of beer cocktail that delivers an invigorating ginger flavor for both satisfying and thirst-quenching enjoyment. The shandy was created in collaboration with Muskoka Springs, using its original 1873 recipe for Muskoka Dry Pale Ginger Ale, which is packed with botanical extracts. Old Tomorrow brewed its beer, blended it with the ginger ale and then added natural honey and lemon flavours. The result is a light and zesty ginger flavor that is truly refreshing.

Whoa, thus smells like lemon hand soap. Flavour isn’t as perfumed, as the aroma. Some hints if lemon zest and sweet ginger ale. Mouth feel and carb are nice and refreshing. Finish is soapy, cloying, and off the wall and rails. Couldn’t finish it.

473ml can shared with my wife. Pours a clear pale yellow gold with a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces. Sweet aroma of ginger ale and honey with faint floral hops and grainy pale malt hiding in the background. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, ginger ale, honey and faint floral hops in a sweet finish. Light body with a sticky texture and average carbonation. A bit sweet. More like ginger ale than beer.

Good ginger flavor with the heat a little mellowed out by the honey. Happy Canadian Beer Day apparently?

Pours a clean, light golden colour with an orange hue. Frothy whitish head, decent lasting with some foam. Big lemon citrus aromas that reminds me of lemon oils and lemon floor soaps. Very mild spiciness in the background. The taste is milder, with the malt from the beer showing, light lemon notes and more yeast in the finish than the ginger. Was wishing for more of a ginger spice attack to this. Easy-drinking, yes. Crisp, not so much.

Clear Amber color with a sweet gingr nose. The taste is honey, light ginger and sweet. Tasty but not terribly beer like. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
