This is not a kettle sour. This mixed culture Farmhouse ale was aged in Oak barrels with pear juice. A delicate dry hop of Sabro, Citra and Mosaic imparts a Transcendent tropical Aroma. Shine On!

Medium dark hazy golden color with frothy with head. The nose is modestly sour with modest oak and funky nose but not nearly as funky as other saisons, but significantly more tart. The palate is medium full body with modest brett character, but again not overly funky and much more tart and less hoppy than I would imagine. Nothing authentic but loved the tartness and still well balanced despite lack of bitterness for the style (or perhaps because of lack of bitterness). Fairly unique and good stuff

Draught at Darby’s Gastown, Vancouver
Hazy blond color with compact head. Citrusy aroma, mild. Smooth mouthfeel, dry; the flavor is tart, with very delicate malt base and a big citrusy component, with some astringency in the final.
Harmonious and with a certain degree of complexity, refreshing. Very good.

On tap at Farmhouse Fest, pours a hazy golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out earthy notes, oak barrels and light barrels. Flavour brings out fresh stone fruits, some pith and light barrels. Fresh and fruity, with a light oaky and bretty finish. Very good.

(On tap @ Bottlecraft Liberty Station, SD, April 1/17) Pours a rather hazy medium orange-gold with a rather stable fine white head and lace. Aroma is rather tart and a bit lactic with lots of citrus - lemon, lime, orange - and some pale pit fruit, along with some earthy funk, fairly neutral oak, a touch leafy and tropical, some wheat. Flavour is lightly tart wheat farmhouse with lemon, tart orange, peach, and tropical fruit, light hayloft funk, oak, biscuits, some leafy hops. Light bitterness, lingering tart fruity finish. Light to medium body, low carbonation. A nice tart farmhouse, not groundbreaking but very refreshing.
