Can from Hopt. Aroma is citrus, lime, light pale malt, touch of fruity hops, hay, grass, hint of bubblegum. Flavour is tart and moderate sour with a little hoppy bitterness. Body is medium. Fruity, tart, lemony citrus. Pear juice? Pleasant.

Pour looks like lemonade with a fizzy white head. Aroma is brett lactic acid and musty pears. Flavor is white pear at first then is sharp and biting with the acid finishing super dry. A little bit on the tart and sour spectrum for my liking but it was a nice beer to finish the evening with.

Poured from the tap (listed as 5.6% ABV). Clear-ish yellow with small white head. Fairly tropical, light tartness, hint of gooseberry. Not bad.

Can. Gold with a near inch of white head that fades fast. Aroma of sweet pear, sour peach, twigs and oak. Lightish bodied with moderate carbonation. Dryish in a way that accentuates the fruit before oak and a little bitterness. Old - canned in either Feb or Oct 20 - but lovely balance with much mellower sourness than previous Almanac beers I've tried. Elegant stuff.

Taster showing straw with half a finger of clean white foam.
The nose shows moderately intense tart notes of banana, guava, and lemon.
The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Lightly tart with moderate flavors of guava and light pear on the finish.

16 oz from a four pack from Grocery Outlet. Over a year and a half old. Aromas of brett, wood, apricot, floral, pear, black pepper. Pours hazy sunshine golden with a one finger bleach-white head with decent retention. Taste is moderately sour (6/10) with a lightly bitter hoppy edge. Highly carbonated foamy mouthfeel. Really nice.

1 pint can. Pours a hazy amber with light head. Aromas of spicy orange, tropical fruit, a little farmhouse and wheaty malts. Flavors follow same; a bit brighter and with additional white grapes. Still seems to be to be a dry hopped kettle sour though, and not getting barrel or pears… Nice overall.

16 oz can poured, gifted by Matt. Thanks! Always stoked to try new Almanac. I might have tried this one at the Barrel House. Still can't believe i lost my notebook full of Almanac beer notes. A glowing golden pour, lively carb, oily fizz lasting head. A really nice blend of sour and hops on this brew. Really flavorful. Juicy pear balances well. Its moderately tart. A glld amount to not mask any of the other qualities. Aroma is a nice blend of melon and pear, with a citrus hop, and a bit of funk. Somewhat crisp and very refreshing taste. Some faint white wine notes here. Tropical linger. A whole lot going on with this brew. Very nice one here from my favorite ones to do it.
