Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#40. On the terrace at Goddards Brewery. No rip tides, just beautiful countryside. Clear copper colour, small carbonation, malty red ale, evident in both aroma and taste. Sweeter nose, watery-bitter aftertaste.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 21/12/23. Deep amber with a reddish hue topped with a big old light beige covering. Nose is biscuit, herb, orange peel, caramel, earthy red berry strokes. Taste comprises biscuit, fruit slice, herb, toasted malts, dried red berries. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay for the style.

Bottle from Cider Barn, Godshill. So this is the Goddards bottles market as a hoppy red whereas B&S's is labelled as a Red IPA. Aroma has rich malts and rye. Opaque dark brown. Thin creamy beige head. Medium bitter. Grainy but resinous hints. Tart sour edge. Underlying caramel malts. Fruity finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick verging on creamy. Soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Decent stuff. Just had the B&S bottle and can't really distinguish between the two.
