On tap at Bryggerifestivalen. It's a clear one, brown in color, still and headless. Toffee, dark malts, some smoke and some booze and dark dried fruit in the aroma. It's medium bodied and very gently carbonated, with a light sweetness. Decent bitterness. Dark malts does most of the flavor work too, dark dried fruit, toffee and a touch of smoke and booze. Lasting finish. Quite dull, not very bock-ish. 240802

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Madla. ABV is 6.8%. Reddish brown colour, huge and long lasting off-white to beige head. Aroma of caramel, dark dried fruits, brown sugar and mild spices. Fizzy mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, loads of caramel and spices, not perfectly balanced. Not very strong notes of bourbon and oak.

Thank you Rune for sharing - Brown with off white head - Malt aroma with some caramel - Malt body with some caramel flavoura along with some wood and dark fruity notes - The malt flavours with some wood goes into the finish - This was nice

100ml draught, at Frøya Bar, Bryggerifestivalen, second day. Near-black body, beige head, spotty lacing. Promising aromas of caramel malts and dark fruits. Caramel fruity flavours, a bourbon touch in the background. Slightly roasted malt-fruity ending. Just alright, Yuletide feel in late July. (Trondheim 29.07.2022).

Bottle at home. Pours clear dark copper with little beige head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, red wine, bourbon. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Medium bodied. Nice and well balanced.
