[May 2022] Deep, dark brown with a small, bubbly off-white head. As far as milds go, not too bad at all - mellow fruit malt on the nose which carries through into the flavour, finishes dry and sweet with a hint of liquorice

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 5/6/2019. Dark brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Rich, brown, sugar notes, berry fruits and a touch of roastiness, before a gentle finish. A good mild.

Opaque black - brown beer, good fluffy pale tan head. Smooth palate, good fine carbonation. Mild dark malts, tangy with a touch of dry cream. Mild smoke and mellow dark fruits. Airy dry finish. Comes together well.

Cask at the Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown with a round off-white head and some broken lace. The aroma is rich red berry fruit and roasted malt. The flavour is medium bitter light sweet with a watery sweet malt light spice bitter hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Somewhat satisfying but needs more body.
