Birra scura, di color marrone tonaca di frate, si presenta con una schiuma compatta di colore crema.
Al naso profumi di cioccolato e di arancia che si armonizzano con leggere sentori di malto torrefatto e di frutta secca.
Fin dal primo sorso si evidenziando piacevoli e calde note di cioccolato e scorza di arancia - ben equilibrate con i sentori di cereale torrefatto - che evocano ricordi di frutta secca. Presente l’amaricato del luppolo che lascia in bocca un equilibrato retrogusto tra dolce e amaro, appagante ad ogni assaggio.

Deep brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is spicy, some oranges and mild toffeeish tones with a bit nutty elements too. Flavour is quite similar to the aroma with some chocolaty tones to it.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is caramel, sweet brown malts, toffee, spicy and fruity notes, hint of orange, some cocoa. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bitterness. Above medium body. Sweet with lots of caramel.

0.33 l bottle from 'SpeciaalBierPakket.nl', best before July 2029. Very dark ruby to black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity, a little yeasty-spicy aroma of caramel, chocolate, marzipan, hazelnut and maybe hints of orange. Rather sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly roasty and gently fruity taste of caramel, cocoa, toasted hazelnut, marzipan and light orange, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty chocolaty Christmas beer, unfortunately very little orange detectable.

Big 750ml, corked bottle, kindly shared by Finn at a session with him, Synny, and lmojoh. Almost black in the glass, off-white head, clingy lacing. Inviting on the nose with ripe orange and mid-sweet chocolate malts. True to its name with a fine balanced taste of cocoa, ripe orange,, nuts and a bite of yeasty fruitiness. Orange-malty end, not overly sweet. Yuletide enjoyment in June. (Tromsø, 04.06.2024).

Mørk brun med beige skum som legger seg rundt kanten. Aroma malt kakao nelik nøtter. Smak malt karamell nøtter kakao nellik gjær alkohol. Fyldig, kraftig, smakfull, lett søtlig. Flaske fra VP Nerstranda og delt med Synny, Finn og Rune

Sort med lav lys brun topp som forsvinner raskt. Blir liggende som et tynt slør rundt kanten. Aroma; Karamell, malt, urter, bjørnebær, hint av nellik. Smak; Sjokolade, malt, appelsin, nellik, karamel, urter, hasselnøtt, Balansert, Fyldig. Smaksfull ettersmak som brer seg. Delt med Rune, Finn og Leif.

Brun klar med gylden brunt skum. Lukter nøtter, kaffe og noe appelsin. Smaker appelsinmarmelade, lett brent karamell og noe kaffe. Middels lang.
