Brewed with our friends at BD57 Brewdog bar in Oslo, this coffee stout is packed full of flavor. Brewed with choice malts for a creamy dry mouthfeel, this stout smooth and malt forward, dark, and chocolaty. It has soft notes of coffee and cocoa from the locally made coffee beans and Tahitian cocoa nibs. We touch this beer up with small amounts of cinnamon, nutmeg, and brew it with hazelnut. This beer sits at 6,5% making it very drinkable. Cheers from us in Norway!

On tap at BrewDog Bristol Baldwin, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a rich, fruity, medium roast coffee, along with some dark sugars. Flavour is much the same, with a very fruity coffee character, light sugars, and dry cocoa. Nice smooth body, showcasing that fruity coffee. Solid stuff.

200ml draught, 6.5 % abv, at BD57. Near-black in the glass, a deep ruby shade to it, filmy layer, scattered lacing. Smoothly roasted chocolate malts on the nose. Fine balanced dark malt-driven taste of chocolate together with earth and nuts. Rounded dark malty ending, nicely roasted. Could not pick the coffee notes. Good drinking. (Oslo, 01.11.2023).

Keg at Brewdog Camden. Said 3.4% on their beerboard rather than the 6.5% it's meant to be! Black with a beige to light tan head. Roasted nuts (would say walnut rather than hazelnut). Chocolate. A hint of dark fruits in the background. Much less sweet than many flavoured stouts. Great balance, dangerously drinkable, and oddly refreshing to boot. Very, very good, thoroughly enjoyed it. And a new region to boot.
