Poured from a bottle at Homborsund Bar, Bryggerifestivalen '23, second day. Kindly shared by bergstaden. Deep dark brownish body, bare naked on the surface, scattered lacing. Inviting smell of chocolate malts, raisin, and oak. Grainy chocolate flavours alongside a dried fruity twist. and some spices. Woody. Ends with spiced chocolate malts, warming down the swallow. Decent, rather sweet, slow sipper. (Trondheim, 04.08.2023).

Bottle, at Patrick's. An unclear dark brown beer with a minimalistic off-white head. Quite oily. The aroma has quite a lot of alcohol, but it's not pushing. Roasted malts, oak, coffee, booze, cold coffee, dark chocolate, some chemical notes, raisin, and a meaty touch. It's full bodied and warming, smooth, with flavors of dark chocolate, licorice, meat and some coffee. Intense, heavy finish too. Sure need some time to finish this one. Classic. 230218

Bottle @ Patricks. Clear, dark amber under a small beige head. Strong boozy aroma with malt and fusel. Taste is overwhelming alcoholic, medium malty, some dry fruit, lots of yeast and unpleasant alcoholic fusel. Body feels thin for the style, almost watery like a really low residue brew. Not very successfully at all.
