The beer will be Wales’ first ever craft beer collaboration between Celt Experience and Otley. Brewed with US hops and fresh chillies to give a deep spice and mango character, finishing with a feisty chilli spice burn.

Black color with a beige head. Not very typical BIPA this one. Dark malt and a bit spicy aroma. Medium + body. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Average carbonation. Fine balanced fruity, dark malt and spicy flavor. Nice one.

Bottle. A reddish brown beer topped by a beige head of moderate size. Roasted malts, chocolate and a touch of coffee in the aroma. Chili notes, chocolate and coffee notes in the flavor. Almost burnt. Full to medium body, chili burning and warming. Lasting finish. Nice this one, blending roasted malts and chili nicely. 140215

Bottle from Ales By Mail [280114]
Black, big off white head, nice lacing
Aroma - mellow roast, some piney hops, touch of grassy hops, some chilli heat
Taste of piney hops, mellow roasted malts, touch of chcolate, soft bitter hops, chilli heat at back of throat, chilli clouds the hop flavour unfortunately. Chilli is separate from the beer, no integration
Palate - soft carb, medium body, soft sweet. Finish as main flavour, lingering heat back of throat.
Overall - Another beer that’s probably better without the chilli
