330ml bottle from Ales by Mail

Pours dark brown with a thick white head. Aroma of roasty malts, spices, pepper, grassy hops and exotic fruits. Taste is smooth, hoppy and slightly roasty with some spiciness, peppery notes, grass and fruits. Finish is hoppy, grassy and roasty with some warming chili notes. Okay black IPA with a touch of chili.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, BB 20130714, courtesy of rosenbergh, 20140315) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pepper, fruitiness and malts. Palate medium bodied with chilli burning and medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, pepper, caramel, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had chilli and bitterness. The chilli used was matched very well with the rest of the beer.

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of wood, roasted malt, alcohol, and caramel. The flavor is sweet chili, roasted malt, alcohol, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.
