330 ml bottle, as Flåklypa Spesial Juleøl, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutkken. ABV is 6%. Brewed by Nøisom AS. Beautiful chestnut colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Aroma of malts, caramel, gingerbread and mild Christmas spices. The flavour has the same elements, the spices are more distinct now. Moderate hops.

330ml bottle, #842, beer gift from Eyvind-Arne. Hazy dark orange coloured body, spotty lacing from a film-type layer. Inviting smell of toffee, nutshell, and bread-like malts, mid-dry. Similar taste character of bread, toffee, nuts, and a little backdrop of spices. Brown malty ending, semi-sweet. Medium bodied. A decent one. (Tromsø 28.12.2022).

Bottle. An almost see-through amber to brown beer with a small beige head. Some lacing. Quite meaty aroma, bready and toffee-ish, with dried fruits and a piney touch. It's full-bodied and smooth on the palate, softly carbonated, with a malt-driven flavor. Chocolate, toffee, bread, dried fruits and a decent bitterness. Some sweetness, but just as much as needed. Malty finish too. Quite decent this one, although not a favorite. 221214
