100ml poured from a can at Hogna Bar, Bryggerifestivalen, third day. Black-brownish body, naked at the surface, scattered lacing. Roasted aromas, coffee grounds and caramel. Mixed taste of vanilla caramel, chocolate, bread, and a backdrop of coffee, backbone of lactose. Slightly roasted ending, rather sweet. Smooth on the swallow. Pleasing. (Trondheim 30.07.2022).

Black with a small brown head - Malt aroma with some coffee and caramel aroma - Malt body with vanilla , chcolate and coffee flavours with ome nice bitterness in the back - The malt with coffeee, chcolate and vanilla goes into the finish with ome gentle bitter notes - This was good

KYGG 040421. Dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, chocolate. Flaor is roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, chocolate, sugar, mocha, vanilla, caramel. Very nice beer.

Can. A thick dark brown to black beer with a small, dense dark beige head. Coffee, cocoa, vanilla and a good dash of caramel in the aroma. It's a full-bodied, softly carbonated and with a little alcohol warmth. Coffee, caramel, dark chocolate and some vanilla and booze in the flavor. Sweet, but not really sticky. Lasting finish with caramel, coffee and dark chocolate. Not bad this one, really tasteful actually. 210404

Det er alltid en liten høytidsstund for meg når jeg skal rate et nytt øl fra Hogna, og denne får debuten i mitt nye Hogna-glass (takk til sjefspusheren for det!): brunsvart med ok skum. Vanilje, dessertchokoklader, fløtekarameller, kaffe med en skvett melk&sukker og fed chokokladekage med flødeskum. En solid dessert, men jeg tenker at den også kan nytes sammen med en pepperkakepåsmurt litt blåmuggost. 0,44 boksen var fra velværesenteret rett sør for bygrensa og vel verdt de 35 km t/r på sykkel.
