Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours ambery gold with a white head. Lots of citrus/tangerine/zest in the aroma. Med body or so. Flavor is sort of tangerine peel with perhaps some other pale type fruits. I’m getting a hint of a zest or hop burn. This is pretty good stuff.

Bottle sample at a fruit IPA tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Hazy deep golden. Aroma of tangerine, and some slightly stale hops. Flavor is somewhat tart and bitter, with lots of tangerine, and some citric hops. Medium-bodied. Nice.

12 oz can. Aroma is tangerine peel, garlic, wet dishrag. Pours a clear deep gold with a decent off-white head with good retention and curtains of lace. Taste is medium to highly bitter with a huge juicy tangerine character, some garlic, very dry finish. Tasty.

12oz can. Filtered looking orange body. Big, steady, foamy, off-white head. A little higher in ABV than most of the recent wave of fruited IPAs, which maybe gives it a little more depth. The tangerine flavor is juicy, mild, boring, tastes like extract. Not bad overall, decent balance, respectable hopping.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Slightly hazy orange-gold color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of tangerine, citrusy hops and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

12 ounce can. Color is a mostly clear yellow orange with Thin White head. Aroma is candied oranges, mild bready malt, and citrus pith.

Good juice element to got with a moderate amount of bitterness. The tangerine/ orange isn’t overwhelming but can’t be missed. The citrus pith or rind bitterness at medium strength. The body is a little lean, almost watery texture. However, the refreshing crisper aftertaste with a hop bite really saves this overall for me. Not a repeat buy but certainly would never refuse it.

$1.85 can from Wine Warehouse. Pours orange with a small head. Aroma of citrus - perhaps tangerine but not exactly what I would pick out. Taste is a bit watery citrus juice, hops, light caramel, pine.
