Hop Nosh IPA - Tangerine

(Bottle, 0.355 l - BB 07/22/17, from Alko, 20161027) The beer poured deep amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, tangerine and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, tartness, tangerine, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, citricand bitter. A rather pleasant fruit infused hoppy pale ale.

Slightly hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a small, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of fresh oranges/tangerines, citrus and perfumey hops with a little malt and a blast of sugars near the end - pungent throughout. Medium-bodied; Assertive citrusey and grassy flavours with a herbal and fresh hop flavour at first showing some sweetness and a very small amount of malt soon afterwards. Aftertaste shows more of a rounded flavour with some sugars, malt, hops and a bunch of citrus flavours to finish it out. Overall, a well structured and definitely noticeable citrus flavour with the oranges the strongest, then the hops. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Fair Lakes (Fairfax), Virginia on 15-May-2016 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 30-August-2016.

Clear gold beer, big pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry. Light smooth malts. Juicy tangerine and orange. Light hop spice. Mild citric peel bitterness. Pink and yellow grapefruit. Bitterish finish. Well joined up. Nice one.

Bottle from the dregs run. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus and faint sweat. Taste is more citrus, tangerine, green plant stalks. Bitter finish.

Bottle at appellation. Pours clear golden, nose is malty toffee, grapefruit, orange, taste is zesty tangerine, little sweet and sweaty.

Bottle thanks to cgarvieuk. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - citrus and fresh sweat. Taste - citrus but dominated by sweat. Also green stalky. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - very sweaty.

Bottle at appellation... Golden amber... Soft sweet herbal hop nose.. Soft sweet floral toffee fruit.. Light sweet zesty orange

Bottle from Brewers Haven. Seemed like a good idea, but the mix with the tangerines gives this brew some soapy characteristics. Hope Noah is great, but here the citrus detracts from the original. Flowery, hibiscus aromas and flavors, a Nd that’s what lingers, leaving you feeling like you’ve just washed your mouth out with soap.

Bottle at the BSF Bar GBBF, Tuesday (Trade Day) 9th August 2016 Hazy gold edging towards orange with a white head with a orange hue. Fruity (citrussy) orangey but I wouldn’t necessarily pick up tangerine, fine in fact I liked it, however I noticed it was BBE 10/07/16 A6 A4 T7 P3 OV14 3.4

Sampled from bottle @ ChrisO’s after GBBF Day 1. Clear golden color, average sized white head. Aroma is indeed tangerine clearly. Taste lightly malts, tangerine, zesty citrus hops, citrus bitter finish. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Decent.
