Amber with a light haze. Aroma is very floral. It’s rich and creamy. Great hop and malt balance. Rye smoothness. Moderate bitterness.

Bottle at Shrewsbury tasting Oct 5 courtesy of minutemat, thank you! Cloudy golden color. Nice aroma of herbal and spiced sourdough toast. Taste is lightly spiced raw bread, mixed citrus and summer fruit. Not much smoke, maybe a little at the finish. My favorite of the night, I think.

330ml bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, Travlr edition, Oct 15, courtesy of myself, bought at Stori Beer & Wine, Bala. Pours musty brown with an aroma of smoked rye. Taste is rye-tastic with prickly smoked chili and spice on the finish. Ok.

330ml bottle shared at a Shrewsbury bottle exchange group meeting with Gene as a guest on 5th Oct 2015. Misty golden pour with a wisp for a head. Smoky Rye aroma and taste with a spice twist or two in the flavour. Different and decent.

Keg at The Castle Tap, Reading, Tuesday 26th May 2015 Hazy amber in colour, soft in the mouth, real lovely citrussy vein, but a light smokey edge. A tasty beer, would quite happily have another of these. A6 A3 T8 P4 Ov14 3.5

Tap. Friends of Ham, Leeds. Hazy, dark gold. Bubbly, lasting, off white head. Sweet, chewy, toffee apple. Bit of spicy, smoky tang. Fusty fruit to boot. Taste is moderate bitter. Light sweet. Full body. Touch more of the tang. Finishes long, light bitter. Soft on the smoke, but plenty tasty.
