This champagne-inspired IPA has been brewed using exogenous enzymes to allow all the residual sugars in the beer to be fermented, giving a bone-dry finish. The lighter body is paired with an energetic effervescence, each bubble carrying aromas of sweet citrus fruits and floral notes from additions of Amarillo and Cashmere hops.

Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#85. Imported from Southampton. Very mildly hazed golden and a fuller tropical fruit aroma, with the more champagne element in taste very much evident, but also neutralising the aforementioned to quite an extent. It remains decent though with an easy enough texture.

440ml can from the Mary Rose museum shop in Portsmouth. Pours clear yellow with strong carbonation and a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of flora, citrus, herbs, grass, earth & malt. Moderate body.
Dry clean light bitter finish. Enjoyable to a point but the least impressive of the PM beers I've tried by some distance.

30/12/2023. Can shared at CLBF. From Darren, cheers. Pours clear pale gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is herbal, grassy, citrus, malt, yeast, hint cheesy. Taste is earthy, herbal, moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, quite highly carbonated. Not a big fan of this.
