Optisch schönes orange-braun, ordentlicher Sahneschaum, in der Nase Nelke, im Trunk wieder Nelke, sehr würzig, passt.

Bottle from a lcoal supermarket. Looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass with a nice head, fine malty-yeasty aroma. Starts intense malty-yeasty, shy banana notes, some herbs, hints of nuts. Mild bitterness. Finish well balanced, not too yeasty. Not bad.

Bottle, 7.1%. Good fruity aroma, hint of banana and some malt syrup. Cloudy dark golden colour with a big stable creamy white head. The flavour is fruity, sweet, malty with notes of malt syrup and dried apricot and a late banana finish. Flavourful, but still fairly light and easily drinkable.

Appearance: Cloudy orange with a moderate off-white frothy head of decent retention. Aroma: Massive esters providing it dried banana and candy / lollipop. Wheat bread, barley, clove. Dried apples and pears. Taste: Moderately sweet, pretty estery, fruity, bready. Light ending hop. Mouth feel: Medium body, average to lively carbonation. Summary: This one is decent unlike many other Feldschlösschen Dresden products.

500ml can. Pours opaque orange with a tall off-white head. Aroma is phenolic bananas, cloves, malt, faintly boozey. Taste is medium sweet, banana, wheat, spices, bread, alcohol in the background. Light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Until now I didn’t think budget weizenbocks existed… this cost less than €1, 70 roubles to be precise. Overall, for the price it’s good, but there’s something about it… it tastes cheapish and a little rough round the edges. To sum it up, I’d rather pay more for something like Schneider Aventinus or Weihenstephaner Vitus.
