Thyra Danebod – Denmark’s symbol of beauty and the woman married to the first king of Denmark, Gorm the Old. A fair woman, was she: gentle of body and a sparkling soul, precisely as Frejdahl’s Thyra. Beautifully frothy, light as a summer’s night and fresh like a budding romance in the spring. The sweetness of the elderflower sends its token of love into yonder room. As merrily enjoyed by noble women and fair maidens as by and merry men and cheerful swains.

75cl bottle corked and caged. fresh aroma of elderflowers, it mixes up with other aromas from the beer and creates a flowery citrussy sensation, not artificial feel to it, like real flowers, real citrus fruits. in the background is a decent lager aroma about medium sweet and not very bitter. Overall i find the aroma quite good, lots of beers like this end up artificial or just messy. flavor is quite citrus fruity with elderflower notes. the bitter ending is slightly herbal. i don't like the flavor very much, it is drinkable, but not an improvement over your random lager or random beer. just a bit weird. not even refreshing, like the fruity parts have added sugar. it soon becomes too much.

Hektische Perligkeit, Schaum perlt gleich weg. In der Nase Zitrus, Holunder. Im Trunk süß, erst Malz, dann Holunder, feinbitter im Abgang. Eher ein Radler, aber sehr erfrischend. Kann man machen.
