33cl bottle in cardboard box (best before 31.12.2018 / batch 056). Hmmm, strange, I really thought I already had rated this one when it was fresh... but anyway, now it has matured for quite some time. Pours pitch black with a tanned head. Roasty and chocolaty with notes of coffee, herbs and spices. Surprisingly bitter still - and reminds me slightly of Gammel Dansk or similar herbal bitter liqueurs. Noticable and warming alcohol, but quite well integrated and at least now it feels rather smooth. Hmmm, maybe more Fernet Branca than Gammel Dansk....

Bottle at a tasting with MisoW and Cuso. Thanks guys! Full bodied, loads of coffee and deep roasted flavours, chocolate. Light alcohol. Very good, quite your standard RIS.

Bottle from RIMI. Almost black pour with some brown foam on top. Nose is spicy, with dark fruits and raisins, roast and coffee. Liquorice and hoppy umami. Taste is roasty, slick fruity and full of cocoa and toffee. Lots of cocoa actually. Woody and herbal, roasty and burnt malts in the finish. It's not even barrel-aged, so really well done. Way to go Tanker!

Bottled 330ml (Uba ja Humal)
Opaque black color, small brownish head, some lace. Aroma is alcoholic, toasted malts and soya sauce. Medium-bodied. Roasted malty, licorice, strong coffee, very boozy, bitter. Let’s say: "warming aftertaste". Meh...
