Bottle thanks to my bro. It pours darkest brown to black with a decent dark tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, savoury nutty character, plenty of almond, marzipan, walnut , boozey liqueur, frangelico, head notes of bourbon, chocolate bourbon biscuits, oily, plenty of vanilla, bounty bar, toasted brown sugars and spice. The taste is slick, super sweet, massive vanilla, chocolate, biscuits, chocolate digestives, tunnocks tea cakes, jammy wagon wheels, almond joy, gooey marshmallow, snickers, marzipan, bourbon soaked oak, leather, liquid cake, earth, tannin and boozey warmth with a slick, sugary finish. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and oily mouth feel. Far too sweet and indulgent for the likes of me. Jaysus. Needed a nap after consuming half a bottle.

Bottle, at Bryggerifestivalen. A black beer topped by a dense light tan head. Sweetish aroma with caramel, roasted malts, a burnt touch and some spicyness. Some booze hints. It's full-bodied and warming on the palate, soft and rather gently carbonated, and sure sweet. Roasted malts, caramel, dark chocolate and a touch of burnt malts, spices and booze in the flavor, that lasts for a really long time. Too sweet this one, but sure pleasant anyway. 240801

Sweet, roasty and nutty with some almonds, hints of syrup, coconut, toffee, barrel and caramel. A bit heavy and too sweet.

Drukket i hyggelig formiddagsselskap. Svart. Lavt tett lysebrunt skum. Sterk sjokoladearoma. Smaken sjokolade, nøtter & vanilje. Lovende start - men ble oversøt. Flytende dessert.
