On tap at MBCC 2025, blue session. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Roasted malts, chocolate, and toasted almonds on the nose. Flavour has roasted malts, almonds, dark chocolate, boozy finish. Very nice.

Draft at Proeflokaal De Hoppenaar, on an evening with nice beers and good company. Didn't take notes, so this is what I remember: Very nice one. Almond, sublte biscuit, caramel, some chocolate, a little boozy.

This is a really good beer, but thin for what it wants to be. Crazy almond chocolate nose, lots of sweetness, no there there in the end

Panda thanks to Cloin. Clear dark brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, decent fine carbonation. Good dark chocolate malts, a little dark malt cream. Mild spice. A nice rich fruitiness, like fruit cake turned up to eleven. Bourbon barrel, a little vanilla oak. Mild boozy spice on the fairly light finish. Leaves a spicy linger, much to like here.

Really sweet, a bit boozy. Strong almond, nutty but not amaretto-like, coconut, chocolate. Toying with cloying, could use some barrel to counteract. Nice.

Bottle courtesy of Jude and Baz, cheers guys, consumed at home Monday 9th September 2024 listening to Tom and Deb New Music Fix, we had Peanut Butter Chicken with an Indonesian Rice. Pours bitumen black, nutty and chocolatey and also the bourbon is showing. These show in the mouth, with the almond really taking over, even offering a marzipan edge, there is also a fruity tang. Superb.
