Bottle [from Secret Summer Santa Europe 2016 thanks to FatPhil] @ home. Hazy orange color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is a mix of nice hoppiness and overripe fruits with green plants. So basically one moment you think it’s nice and then the next moment you get some of these less good aromas. Taste malts, hops, sticky hops, sticky hop bitter fruitiness, bitter, slightly alcohol. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Other than the aroma it’s quite solid.

Pours amber, bit of haze. Nice full aroma, thick and syrupy. Pine needles there and coming out even more in the taste. Nice hop prickly feel to it. Decent body and actually beer that is really brewed after its name. Overall, maybe just a bit too bitter and piney but still good.

Cloudy, dull tan, fruity hop nose, a bit old school chewy, and a sticky hint of chewy malt.

Bottle shared. Thanks Raul! Lots of pine notes with orange aromas and light spruce. The spruce comes out a bit more on the palate with the orange and pine really shining. Well-balanced with simple flavors but hides the 10 percent very well. --- Beer merged from original tick of Okkaline XL on 18 Jun 2016 at 17:43 - Score: 7. Hazy amber brown color. Very hoppy nose with dirty toasted malts underneath. Nose isn’t very impressive, but good balanced body with aggressive bitterness. Well made but not overly complex. Decent enough

Bottle, BB 03.2017 (from Koht). Pours amber with whiteish head. The head stays. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, pine, caramel. Flavor is sweet and bitter, citrus, pine, tangerines. Carbonation is rather low. Overall: woah, this is great. It doesn’t really smack in the face like some US DIPA-s, but it’s still geat.

On tap at TCBW 2016. Hazy amber with a moderate, off-white head. Malty and bready with fruity notes. Fairly hoppy, but quite balanced. Medium sweet with a nice bitterness. Full body and fairly average carbonation.
