BOTTLE 33 CL. Dark ruby-black, huge beige head. Aroma has dark chocolate, coffee beans and grassy hops. The taste is full, on the sweeter side and somehow juicy, easy-drinking. Sweet chocolate, sweetened cold coffee, enough bitterness, and the alcohol just makes more flavourful. Very good.

Bottled 330ml (Tallink Star tax free)
Dark opaque cola-like color, mostly vanishing head. Syrup, dark bread and toasty/ashy maltyness in the nose. Medium-bodied. Quite watery for this ABV porter. Toasted malty, ryeish, a bit burned and ashy. Hints of licorice. Rough burned porter.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 09.01.2016, from Koht Shop, 20151219) The beer poured clear and nearly black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had toasted malts and milk chocolate. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, milk chocolate, grass, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had dark chocolate and bitterness. A brew with a lot of chocolate-like components.

33cl bottle. Bbe 09.01.2016. Pours pitch black with a thin brown head. Quite sweet on the nose at first, followed by roasted malt, ashy notes, oatmeal and milk chocolate. Flavor has sweetness, milk chocolate, light ashyness , roasted malt. Bit on the sweeter side for me, but all in all quite pleasant. Medium bodied, soft palate, smooth.

33cl bottle from SIP veini- ja õllepood, Tallinn. Pours very dark brown, close to black, with a fairly decent, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, some dark fruits and hints of wood and hops. Medium sweet with nice, roasty flavours and a quite balanced bitterness. Chocolaty and desserty, but easy to drink. Nice one. --- Beer merged from original tick of Vana Kalur on 04 Aug 2015 at 18:59 - Score: 6
