A blend of local apples and pears fermented and aged for 1 year in sherry barrels before being refermented with fresh pear juice from 2023. A lightly hazy pet nat style, combining the best of apples and pears to provide a fantastic balance. An absolute belter!

This is gorgeous stuff. Stunningly clean, some nice crispy green apple, low levels of funk, nips of fresh grass, lightly bitter skins. Dry finish, a whisper of apple juice. Nip of salinity. Delightful.

7/8/2024. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is woody, funky, pear, plastic, floral notes. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, oily, light sparkling carbonation. Drying finish. Good.

750ml bottle from Cork & Cask. Slightly hazed straw yellow-gold colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of apple, funk. Taste is sweetish, tart, tangy, apple & pear, fleshy, fruity, some funky, wood, oak, barrel notes, and balanced acidity and tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, drying tart & tangy finish. Nicely drinkable.
