A unique cider, made from apples grown in Ennerdale and in our own orchard at Mosser. It features two heritage bittersweet cider apples rarely found rarely found in Cumbria - Kingston Black (32%) and Brown Snout (30%), supplemented by fruitiness of Forge (30%) and a little Sunset (8%).
Carefully matured for over 12 months in our cool barn, it has complex fruitiness that seems more tropical than Cumbrian.

75cl bottle from Beer Ambleside. Pours a clear golden amber. Aroma of mild caramelised fruit, orchard warmth, oak. Flavour profile builds on this, crisp palate, nicely natural feel, apple juice, soft tannin, gentle oak, crunchy apple core with emerging fruit definition that lingers nicely on the finish alongside a soft woody touch. Lovely blend this.

Moderate sweetness and bitterness with light tartness. Medium body, slightly oily, soft carbonation. Light drying sour finish. Quite enjoyable.
