Carefully matured for over 12 months in our cool barn, it has complex fruitiness that seems more tropical than Cumbrian.

75cl bottle from Beer Ambleside. Pours a clear golden amber. Aroma of mild caramelised fruit, orchard warmth, oak. Flavour profile builds on this, crisp palate, nicely natural feel, apple juice, soft tannin, gentle oak, crunchy apple core with emerging fruit definition that lingers nicely on the finish alongside a soft woody touch. Lovely blend this.

7/8/2024. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear golden orange with a small bubbly head. Aroma is crisp apple, citrus, floral, touch funky with a mucky edge developing. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with light tartness. Medium body, slightly oily, soft carbonation. Light drying sour finish. Quite enjoyable.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 29/06/24. Clear golden with a fast collapsing white head. Nose is crisp apple, tannins, oak, straw. Taste comprises bitter sweet apple, tannins, orchard wood, apple core, sugar dusting. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Not bad.

750ml bottle from beergb. Orangey golden colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, musty, fruit, flowery, funk. Taste is tart, tangy, apple, fleshy, floral, citric, fruity, with some drying acidity and bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. Nicely drinkable.
