750ml bottle from Hop Shop Aberdeen. Golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of apple, vanilla, earthy funk. Taste is tangy, apple, tart, fleshy fruits, some skin & core, wood, leathery, funky, vanilla hint, and with drying tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tangy tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

750ml from Westhill Service Station. It pours clear golden - yellow with a small fizzy white head. The aroma is earthy, apple skin, leafy, crunchy apple, dull funk, lemon zing, damp wood. The taste is crispy, snappy, firmly dry, bitter, oak tannin, apple skin, bright, white wine/champagne character, white grape, gooseberry, crunchy apple, must abs leather with a bone dry finale. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Quite firm and savoury. Perhaps not loads of depth, but it drinks well.
