Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 28/04/24. Light golden pour with a white cap that soon veers to the edge. Nose is funky apple, straw, barnyard, light dung, damp hay. Taste comprises apple skins, tannins, orchard wood, farmyard tones, damp hay. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent sharp and funky affair.

750ml bottle from Oban Beer Seller. Great label. Yellowy gold colour, thin white foam head and aroma of meaty funk, leather, musty apple. Taste is tangy, tart, apple, fruity, orchardy, with leather, smokey bacon, funky, horseblanket hints, alittle citric acidity and some drying earthy tannins. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tart acidic & tannic finish. Very drinkable.

750ml bottle from Craft Bar, Pitmedden. It pours clear pale yellow - gold with a small fizzy white head. The aroma is zingy and bright, lemon sherbet, crunchy apple, sherbet, appletiser, tangfastics and oak. The taste is crispy, firmly dry, snappy, oak, tannins, apple skin, juicy, crunchy, bright, loads of fresh apple, white grape, twist of lemon, light acidity, dry funk, damp hay and just a touch of alcohol presence in the backdrop with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, fizzy, effervescent carbonation. A classy cider all round. Love the combo of funk, crunchy apple and tannin.
