Bottle from Tanakaya. Really strange beer. Very very clear and light blonde colour. Small bubbly white head. Aroma is ultra grainy with a touch of stink, and some citrus. Maybe a bit of white wine too. Tastes like a fresh white baguette initially. Really like a baguette. Wasn't expecting that! Bit further down the breadiness fades and there is a bit more white wine, some malty sweetness and just a touch of fruit. Definitely a bit champagne like. I actually quite like this. Very interesting and definitely the best Happoshu I have had, but maybe got a bit much towards the end. Rerate on tap at Oedo beer fest. Tastes of grape but it's definitely not their grape beer judging by the colour. Quite juice-like and sweet. Not sure. It's quite nice but it probably isn't if you know what I mean. Hints of peach too. Made with rice, but get no hint of that at all.

Pours light yellow white, clear with white foam. Nose has some sweetish grandma’s closet, some ancient rice character. Little spices. taste is quite sweet, full and thick. Feels quite flavourful for that 5%, that potato-rice flavour there, feels even drinkable actually, thought it would be worse.

Tasting set at the Shirokita Park Fest. Yuki Musibi Ale is crystal clear- even more so than the Pilsner. The nose is a fruity white grape. Med-light bodied with a zesty mouthfeel. The taste is a grainy earthy sweetness highlighting a grape flavor. All in all pretty good but I had no idea what style they were going for.

Draught at Craft Beer Festival in Ichinoseki, 2011. A rice beer with wheat, Aiming to be champagne-like. Pale yellow with a fine, foamy head. Aroma of fruits, lemon, acid, rice maybe. Faint but not nice. Sweet, lemony flavor, tangy and creamy. Rather sickly sweet with almost no beer flavor. Somewhat drinkable, though really not nice. Dirty, bitter finish.
