Panda thanks to Cloin. Oily looking opaque black brown beer, a tiny bubbly tan head is gone like the life of some exotic particle in the large hadron collider! Smooth palate, a mild viscosity, modest fine carbonation, fine for this hefty abv Impy. Smooth soft dark chocolate malts, rich and velvety. The bourbon is also surprisingly not overpowering but still delivering big bold bourbon flavours. Ripe fruity and slightly spicy. Smooth finish. A complete delight, simple but so very effective.

Bottle at home, from Rad Beer online, 17/01/25.
Black with a khaki cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is cacao nibs, dark malts, bourbon rip, spice, charr, molasses.
Taste comprises chocolate melt, ripe dark fruits, mellow roast, toffee, brown sugar dusting, spice.
Full bodied, fine to slightly prickly carbonation - very lively for an impy stout and not sure I'm a fan of this, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Solid none the less.
