Using our flagship ale as a base, we put an even more nostalgic twist on our style-defining brew; simulating your favorite childhood classic. The only difference? You don’t have to chase down the ice cream man. Cali Creamsicle features hints of vanilla and a distinct citrus cream flavor that finishes slightly sweeter than it’s Cream Ale counterpart. Just as refreshing, just as iconic.

Can. Clear golden in color with a two and a half finger head. Aroma is grains and vanilla. Taste is not so much vanilla but well balanced.

Aroma of malt, wheat, cream, artificial vanilla, sweetener, faint hops. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bittersweet finish. Too artificial, too much like cream soda, not for me.

Pint on tap at Waterfront Tavern, San Diego. Amber beer with fast dissipating head. Very light carbonation. Hints of vanilla in the nose. Some lacing, medium body. Sweet beer with a slightly sour finish. It's OK.

12 oz can from Total Wine - Las Vegas. Pours a crystal clear dark gold color with a small white head and fair retention. Almost no lacing. Vanilla and pale malt aroma, as expected. Sweet vanilla cream ale flavor. Smooth and less grainy than a typical cream ale. Very one dimensional. Medium-light body. Slightly slick mouthfeel. Medium-light carbonation. Not bitter.

Can at BBT 2/2024. More than a bit of vanilla in this one, pretty overpowering in this one. Rather thin body, medium carbonation. The vanilla increases perception of sweetness too, feels med-highly sweet. Moderate bitterness. Vague citrusy hoppiness in the background behind the vanilla. Not very good, unbalanced.

Can at BBT. Hoppy aroma and taste, malty notes, tons of vanilla, light citrus fruit. Medium body, hoppy and malty vanilla bitter finish. Not a good combo.

Can (from Beer Republic). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is toffee, fudge and some fruity tones with some mild tones. Flavour is floral, toffee, fudge and mild fruity tones. On the verge to diacetyl, but suits this beer.
