Using our flagship ale as a base, we put an even more nostalgic twist on our style-defining brew; simulating your favorite childhood classic. The only difference? You don’t have to chase down the ice cream man. Cali Creamsicle features hints of vanilla and a distinct citrus cream flavor that finishes slightly sweeter than it’s Cream Ale counterpart. Just as refreshing, just as iconic.

Bottle. Golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is caramel and creamy, and the flavour is bitter with creamy, caramel and toffeeness. Overall a nice creamy and toffee caramel beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can picked up at the Co-op. Hazy golden straw color with a persistent white head, bits of sticky lacing. An inviting aroma of sweet honey, vanilla, and corn flakes. Tastes mostly sweet with light hints of grassy bitters. Nice use of the honey and vanilla. Really smooth and flavorful. If more cream ales were like this I’d seek them out.

Can (5.2% ABV) from Bottle Baron. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of vanilla ice-cream and custard. Flavour of cream soda, orange Angel Delight and biscuit. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily mouthfeel. Light fizz. Sweet and easy to drink.

12 oz can. Pours hazy golden with a thick off-white pillowy head with great retention; laces a little. Aroma is strong in vanilla; also some breadiness. Taste is strong vanilla backed by a nice grassy hoppiness. Tastes like a nice craft hoppy pilsner with added vanilla sweetness. I like it.

On tap at PreFunk. This is what cream ale is all about. Big chewy body, semi sweet, small tight, very head. Pure malt aroma, more pure malty goodness in the taste. Smooth and slick and tasty.

Can @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy golden color, small white to off-white head. Aroma is lightly malts, a lot of vanilla and sweet. Taste lightly malts, again a lot of vanilla, just as much as I can handle, sweetish. Average body and carbonation.

Can @ home shared by benzai. Clear golden colour with a small to medium sizes white head. Smells vanilla, sweet, malts. Tastes lovely vanilla, malts, some hops.. Somehow a very nice combination. I really like vanilla though. Thin to medium body, nice carbo. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cali Creamin' Creamsicle on 27 Jun 2019 at 23:08 - Score: 6. Can from BeerMott, Manchester. It pours clear amber with a thick, white head. The nose is soft, sweet, big cream soda vibe, vanilla and general creaminess. The taste is crisp, bitter - sweet, creamy, toasty grain, cream soda, straw, light alcohol boost and some chewiness with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate + carbonation. Smells pretty crazy, but taste falls a bit flat. Good fun anyhow.

Draft pour at Churchill’s. Poured a creamy golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was light vanilla notes, yeah... vanilla. Interesting. Cream soda consistency. Interesting brew. Pretty tasty actually.
