Sampled on draft this beer poured a hazy bright fuscia color with a small foamy pink-white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was faint vague fruits - surprisingly dry and mildly salty. The flavor was tart and dryish with orange, vague berry, salt and agave. Long finish. Medium body. Interesting.

Mild blackberry nose. Clear pink, thin pink head. Tart lemon and blackberry. Neutral finish. Light body, moderate carbonation. More blackberry than I expected.

12oz bottle poured into 25cL willilbecker glass, no date but this came out relatively recently. Pours a hazy rose color. First sip and its lime all around, tart lime. I guess Tijuana means lime. After habituating to the lime, I smell some roses (which I guess is blackberry), still lots of lime on nose. I guess I can’t habituate too much, lots of lime for me. The base beer is so nice but the adjuncts cover up much of it. Tart finish, easy drinking, tingling on the cheeks, and, oh yeah, lime.

Bottle. Pours a clear light pink with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of hibiscus with a bit of agave and some earthy wheat supporting. Flavor also has a good amount of hibiscus with a wheat backbone and a bit of earthy agave and blackberry backing.

Pint at Imazato. Lemon, grapefruit, hibiscus in the nose. Cloudy ass purple. crisp, lactic, spicy flavor. Good tartness. Good. Don’t dig hibiscus much, but this is nice enough.

Bottle. A- Funky, plastic, subtle smoke. A- Reddish pink color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Smoke, sat, agave, subtle berries, lightly sour. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, smoky finish. O- Hard to believe Gose Gone Wild is the base beer on this. No where near similar or the Phuket version. That didn’t stop me from really enjoying it though. The aroma was weak, but lots of smoked agave in the palate. Almost an overload. For some reason it reminds me of my late grandfather and the smell and taste of his skoal chewing tobacco. Brings back some good memories even if it is weird and actually tasty.

Pours bright ruby into a tulip. Pink head with medium retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Marshmallow and cherry aromas. Dry with lime and agave upfront turning to dry earthy seeds and salt in the lasting finish.

Bottle. Blackberry, hibiscus, salt, agave, light biscuit malt and dry grass aroma. Hazy reddish amber with large pink head. Lightly sweet lime, blackberry, light malt, mildly salty, and mildly bitter dry hay flavor. Nice body - great balance. Very tasty.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours slight hazy reddish pink/purple color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tart blackberry, raspberry, cherry, cranberry, lemon, lime, green apple, wheat, cracker, sea salt, pepper, hay, straw, lacto funk, herbal, floral, light smoke/leather, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, fruit/spice, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big blackberry, raspberry, cherry, cranberry, lemon, lime, green apple, wheat, cracker, sea salt, pepper, hay, straw, lacto funk, herbal, floral, light smoke/leather, and yeast earthiness. Moderate fruity/lactic tartness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart blackberry, raspberry, cherry, cranberry, lemon, lime, green apple, wheat, cracker, sea salt, pepper, hay, straw, lacto funk, herbal, floral, light smoke, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, fruit/spice, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/spiciness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Slightly puckering, but not overwhelming. Moderate dryness from carbonation and tart/spiciness, increasing through the glass. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, moderately acidic/grainy, and lightly saline/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is an outstanding fruited Gose style. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, fruit/spice, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the modest acidity. This was more funky and lactic than the Phuket version, but still had great balance. A highly enjoyable offering.
