Bottle from Havnens Vin & Tobakhus. Pours opaque dark brown with medium dark brown head. Aroma is intense roasted malt, sour cherries, plums, prunes, blackcurrant jam, vanilla, leather, tobacco, and sweet liquorice. Taste is medium ot very sweet, light to medium bitter, faint acidic, and light salty. Body is light creamy with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of roasted malt, soy sauce, liquorice, cherries, blackcurrant jam, prunes, vanilla, and towards the end a light, very dry grapefruit-like bitterness.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 30.11.2028) im 2025-08 getrunken. Dieses Stout kommt mit kräftigen Kaffee-Röstaromen und leichte Note von grünen Paprika und Robusta-Säure daher. Aber weder von Whisky, Bourbon Vanilla oder Oak ist irgendwas zu entdecken. Ein solides IStout.

Black Colour with small beige head.Aroma of licorice and bourbon nice sweet with hint of whiskey to nice well balanced and smooth finish.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Black, mid sized beige head. Intense woody nose with some whisky. Mid sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Piney sawdust, licorice, coffee and whisky,. Warming, intensely bitter finish.

Black with a lasting off-white head. Roasted aroma with vanilla and whisky notes. Sweet roasted flavour with obvious whisky, some vanilla and a touch of alcohol. Doesn't quite hit me, but definitely a great base beer.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small white head. Aroma is mild wood, oak and some toasted tones with a mild scent of herbs. Flavour is a lot of bitter hops, some roast, toast and some leathery tones with a bit of dry wood.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, oak, barrel, whisky. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration, vanilla - bourbon, dark malt, roasted, barrel - oak. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20240406]
