Dark cola color with good and long lasting head. Aroma is nice with sweet malts, roast, coffee, chocolate and some herbs. However, taste is disappointment. It it watery with coffee, roast and herbs. Not all in good balance.

Bottle, bb 08.08.2017 (shared by helen, thanks). Pours dark copper with beige head. The head stays. Aroma is malt, some roast, some sourness, fruits. Flavor is sweet and bitter, oats, hint of roast, malt, acidity. Feels very watery. Overall: drinkable.

Smell of yeast, grain, cocoa. Not the typical porter smell.. Cola colour, very high light brown head. Aroma of ash, some coffee, some yeast in finish. Ashy dry palate, light body. A bit of a poor man’s porter, with some Black IPA characteristics.

A colablack beer, a head is quite big and beige. Aroma has roastiness, coffee, strong herbal notes and some earthy tartness. Taste has the same elements with the aroma, roastiness of coffee, earthyness and herbs. Too light bodied, but it’s diffucult to do something else with these low percents. Too light and earthy.

Aroma has licorice, ash and cold coffee. Flavour has cold coffee, ash, some tobacco and mild berry tones. Also some semi-dark chocolate. Thin, a bit watery and not that balanced. Drinkable anyway.

Black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is coffee, some toast, mild ashes as well as some fruity notes. Flavour is toasted, malty and ashy with some toffee and mild fruity notes. Thin palate.

Bottle from Pien. Poured deep brown, cola with a thin white head. Vegetables, some tobacco and wood in aroma. Milk chocolate, coffee and ashy notes in flavor. Thin. Not very enjoyable I’m afraid.
