From the very old notes, hence this is not a real rating, but more just a mark to myself that I have tried this at one point. Rather typical viru õlu, not really hoppy as name would suggest, but I didn’t mind it at the time. Maybe I got a good bottle or was just n00b :)

Aroma has apricot, some pine needles, resin and hints of honey. Also some slight grainy notes in the background. Flavour has honey, corn, grainy notes, some pine needles, hints of caramel and biscuits. Some gooseberry bush in the finish. Closer to English than American pale ale. Becomes a bit sweet and sticky at the end of the glass. Not that bad one would expect from the earlier ratings.

50cl bottle at Tallinn airport. Pours dark golden to amber with an fairly decent off-white head. Malty and lightly hoppy and caramely aroma. Some pine as promised, and hints of citrus and spices. Medium body with average carbonation. Quite sweet and malty with caramel and pine. Mild bitterness in the finish. Easy drinkable and quite decent, but not a very fresh APA. Bottled (thanks SADESA & CueSheet). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some mild wooden and grassy notes. Flavour is fruity, zesty and some mild alcohollike sweetness as well as some toffee.

Slightly hazy amber color, small vanishing head. Bready sweetish aroma with some green apple. Light to medium bodied. Fruity apple and banana, harsh industrial flavor. No pine or fresh hops found. Awful.
